So, today the spammer himself seems to have sent me some fan mail. In the interests of full disclosure, I'll paste it here for everyone's edification:

Subject: South Africa Spammers - Shawn & Cemon Lewis
To: zaspam

Are you serious?  find it interesting that such a good investigator doesn't take
the time to researched a relatively well known Telkom fax by night or day 
service at a minimal cost.  When a number needs to be removed they need to 
be told which I assume one would then do but of course why would anyone 
want to save cost when they starting a business, what an idiotic thing to do?  
It blows my mind!
 
Perhaps you should be a little careful about what you are claiming here sir as 
I happen to have answered one of those faxes 4 yrs ago and as a result of 
Shawn & Cemon's continuous guidance and support my family's lives have 
changed dramatically because they help change our financial situation and 
my kids will never want for anything ever again.
 
Its amazing how ready you were to get mad at the fact that were woken by a 
fax and yet were not intelligent enough to see an opportunity when it just 
about kicked you in the head and of course now you are set on depriving 
other individuals who may not be as fortunate as you claim to be an 
opportunity that may very well change their lives or atleast help improve it.
 
Anyway, no problem maybe one day you'll wake up and realize your mistake 
but I won't put any money on that because clearly anyone who tries to prove 
someone to be spammer or a fraudster and then prioritizes (between all your 
pressing chores) to put a website together that not only proves that the 
"spammers" address nor their telephones numbers have changed much 
accept for when they've moved (perhaps an upgrade) has a lot of unresolved 
issues and I somehow don't think it has anything to do with receiving a fax at 
4am in the morning!
 
I must be honest, by the looks of your conversation with Shawn (which looks 
a little scripted)  I think you got a little annoyed by his bluntness.  Perhaps 
this might be a good time to call that shrinkging who's card you've been 
staring at on your desk and work through those anger management issues.

Beautiful... Not only does our scammer seem to have a not-so-subtle split personality, but his alter ego seems to have skipped a few too many English lessons in school. That private tuition should be in your reach now with the untold millions you must have made by now, though, so chin up!
